Amelia advises employers on a wide array of workplace law issues, including: performance management, accommodation requests, harassment complaints, and terminations. She represents employers in various labour and employment litigation matters and has acted for clients before Ontario’s Superior Court, Divisional Court, and the Human Rights Tribunal. Amelia also assists clients with drafting and revising their employment contracts and workplace policies.
Amelia joined the firm in 2016, after summering and articling at a national full service firm. She received her law degree from Dalhousie University in 2015 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016. Before attending law school, Amelia completed her undergraduate degree in English Literature at Carleton University.
Amelia enjoys listening to audiobooks and podcasts on her daily commute. She is an avid camper and takes every opportunity to explore new hiking trails in the GTA with her dog Max.
